“idle mist”
I love the way that certain colors in a landscape look brighter on an overcast day. For me, the highlight of this painting is the golden yellow glowing in the corner, reminding me of the yellow furze flowers that grow prolifically in Ireland. The mist looms, softening edges and blurring the scene.
Painting is sealed with varnish and signed on back.
