One of my favorite things to do when I travel to a new place is visit the grocery stores. Sometimes, I take pictures of what fascinates me, like the variety of particular foods.
This painting was inspired by a supermarket aisle in Italy. If you’ve been in one, you may have seen it…it’s the passata aisle (rivaled only by the pasta selection). Bottles of tomato puree as far as the eye can see.
